I printed my very first book at home in 2005.
While talking to my class about how my wife and I planned our entire wedding
in just 8 days (out of necessity, not choice*) the class suggested I write a book about that
to help other couples see what was possible and learn my shortcuts.
Over the years I’ve gained a bit of a reputation for getting things done fast and well.
The challenged seemed like fun so I typed the chapters up in Microsoft Word and printed a
few sets of books at my local printer including a glossy cover I designed. I cut the pages myself, glued them together using a binding vise I made off a Youtube video and voila! I had a “book”
What was a lot of work to create a poor representation of a paperback then, became much simpler only a short time later.
My second self-publishing project was much better. Photoshop Tip Cards sold
in 13 countries around the world and made me a profit of $5000. Not bad, I thought
for turning 64 pages of what I know into
But I was still printing and assembling all the books myself!

- If all looks good, everyone can now buy it directly from Amazon.com
