Is she:
a. Dreaming about her BF?
b. Watching TV?
c. Performing a feel-good exercise for knees and hips?
You will have to read on ’til the end, however, to see how smart you are. I’m sure the answer will surprise you!
The point of this article is to let you in on a little fitness secret.
Exercise doesn’t have to be hard. Time consuming. Or intrusive in order to be effective. Especially exercises designed for those over 50.
While it might be great for a 20-something to go all out, sweat and grind, push his or her body to the limits, that might just kill those of us over 50.
Ideally, our exercises are designed to retain strength, flexibility, and functionality. We want to use it, so we don’t lose it.
That kind of senior exercise does not have to include sweating, stressing or devoting hours per day, or hours in the gym, to exercise.
There is so much we can do right at home to stay strong and flexible with the same type of at-home, no-stress, no-sweat exercise shown above, and shown in greater detail in my popular “Shortcut to Pain-Free Knees” factsheet.
OK. Busy day today, so let’s wrap this up. I know the suspense has been killing you.
(c.) Is the most correct answer. A video would show the movement of her legs from side to side in a criss-cross manner. I explain this exercise, which helps release the tension in your hips and knees thoroughly in the “Shortcut To Pain-Free Knees” factsheet, plus 5 other easy to do “exercises” which can help to relieve the pain in your knee.
The very first time I tried this, it felt like I was walking on air afterward.. My legs felt so light!
As I explained earlier though, she could also be watching TV and dreaming of her boyfriend while doing this simple, yet effective exercise. So (a., b., and c.) could be correct.
Exercise and staying fit doesn’t have to mean you give up the other things you enjoy in life. You can do the exercises I recommend (the same ones that helped me when doctors, drugs, surgery, and stinky creams could not) with the things you enjoy, like watching TV, or listening to music. Or daydreaming!
How nice right? You couldn’t lose! And that’s how it is with the exercises in my “Shortcut to Pain-Free Knees” factsheet. It’s a tiny investment, for a potentially huge return.
What price wouldn’t you pay, for pain-free knees?
Can you do this? Well, if you know “The Elder” he wouldn’t let me get involved with anything that looked like hard work, sweaty work, or took too much time away from his naps! So yes…I bet you can do this.
